Last week we took the 'Drought Breaker' out for her first trip to Port Macquarie. We learnt a number of things:
I can reverse into a caravan site first go. Woohoo!! I was rather worried I would nudge a few other vans in the process.
Towing a van (with a toilet) is awesome when your 5-year-old wants to stop for a wee...and you all know how little warning they give us: 'Can you hold it Mali?....No I'm busting'.
Don't drive down Mount Ousley Road in Drive with an automatic vehicle. Use the gears to help you descend.
Sort out the brake levels on the Redarc electric brake controller so it's not too low and your burn out your vehicle brakes going down the road mentioned above (as we did!).
The outdoor hot shower was awesome to shower all the kids after returning from the beach late.
The oven works well - baked some yummy scones!
The BBQ is great for cooking pizzas.
Craig's clothesline worked a treat - for 2 families!
We need some wall storage for the kitchen, Mali's books and other bits and pieces.
The bathroom door needs to go and be replaced with an accordion style door - this will make the area between the bathroom and the bunks so much easier to move around in.
